Mr Muhammad Umar, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon

Personal orthopaedic care in Manchester & Cheshire

MY APPROACH

Care begins with a conversation.

My aim is to understand your concerns and explain your options clearly. We will discuss how your symptoms affect everyday life and what you want from treatment.

Time to listen. Clarity to move forward.

I am a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon focusing on hip and knee replacement, joint preservation, sports knee injuries and lower limb conditions in children. I take time to listen, explain the evidence and shape a plan around each patient’s diagnosis, daily life and goals.

Alongside clinical practice, I contribute to medical education as an educational supervisor and appraiser. My NHS practice is at Macclesfield District General Hospital, and I provide private consultations across Manchester and Cheshire.
